Telecommunication Division

As one of the first Saudi companies to develop contracting expertise in telecommunications, the division organized much of the laying of the fiber-optic network in the kingdom. Thus, the division handled the trenching, digging, splicing and pulling of the cables that stretch from Dhahran to Jeddah, a distance of more than 2,000 km.

Typically, contracting work takes place outside of plant facilities with the company laying down that infrastructure necessary for world scale industrial facilities. This includes telecommunication facilities and cable laying in Riyadh and microwave transmission towers for the East-West pipeline.

The division has a long-term service order contract with Saudi Aramco for laying and maintaining communication services for outside side plants (OSP).

The company already enjoys a working relationship with manufacturers and distributors in various fields within the Telecommunications industry and the procurement of specified cables and ancillary equipment meeting the client requirements.

Ahmad N. AlBinali & Sons have adequate storage facilities and also a Motor Pool section capable of transporting equipments to their required locations to provide an efficient service.

The division has at its disposal all plant equipment, trailers, winches and other required plant such as generators, blowers etc. ready to mobilize on request to cover all eventualities during the execution of a Project. In addition, a stable workforce is maintained to provide all skills and levels of supervision that are required by a client to provide an efficient service within given time frames.
